#VisionBuilding Workshop at Hazaribag @SightsaversIn

20 September 2019, Hazaribag : In collaboration with National Program for Control of Blindness-Jharkhand and NBJK, Sightsavers conducted a Vision Building workshop at conference hall of Civil Surgeon office, Hazaribag. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Marcel Aind (Director, NPCB-Jharkhand) in presence of Dr Rajmohan, Dr. K.K. Lal (Head, Eye Department, Hazaribag Medical Collage), Dr. Krishna Kumar (Civil Surgeon, Hazaribag), Dr. Jitendra Kumar (Program Officer, Sightsavers), Mr. Girija Satish (President, NBJK). There were 40 Ophthalmologists, NGO heads, BTTs as participants and discussed  many issues related to increase Cataract Surgical Rate and to improve quality eye care service delivery with development of community health workforce in Hazaribag district. Dr Rajmohan took technical session on quality surgery output while Dr. Jitendra Kumar has focused upon the objectives of the Rural Eye Health program with ideas to increase CSR including effective, accountable management system. Dr Marcel Aind discussed about financial as well as other aspects of government facilities under NPCB and ensured to improve CSR in the District.
