Training Certificate & Employment to Youths with Disabilities

06 March 2024, Hazaribagh: Under NBJK run employability training program for differently abled youths with support of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank & Cheshire Disability Trust, a certification ceremony was held for such youths been trained in the month of February.

On this occasion, the chief guest Mr. Abhishek Sahay (Hazaribagh Branch Manager, Ujjivan Bank) has extended his best wishes to all pass out trainees like Reshma, Meena Tabassum, Sandeep, Safdar etc and assured about continuation of this program in next financial year also so that maximum PwDs can get employability training and livelihhod.

It’s noteworthy that in last month, total 20 disabled including 16 locomotors, 04 hearing impaired youths have been trained for one month in the trades of Basic Computer, Nursing Assistant/Hospitality and 09 could get placement locally. Common Service Centers, Medical Shops, Grocery Shops are their employers.

The program coordinator Mr. Ajay Kumar Sinha has informed that during last three months since Dec’23, this employability training program for persons with disabilities has been initiated, total 65 disabled youths have got training in three batches, 42 have been placed and remaining are under process. Also faculty members like Mr. Vishal Kumar, Ms. Komal Kumari and Ms Priyadarshi Pradhan were present in this event.
