30 May 2019, Amrit Nagar (Hazaribag): A symposium on Respect to All Religions and Dawat-e-iftaar were organized under joint auspices of Hazaribag District Lok Samiti and Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra. The symposium was attended by many prominent people and Mr. Girija Satish (President, NBJK & National Lok Samiti) has introduced the programme. He welcomed the people, particularly from Muslim community who observe daily fast during pious month of Ramzan. Mr. Girija Satish said that respect for all religions is a relevant idea as divisive forces  are active around us in the names of religions. Most of the people are in favour of love, service, help & respect for others and they support the efforts to get rid of religious discrimination, he pointed out.

Mr. Shamsher Alam opined that its our act but not the religion that decides our identitiy and the realm of love is positioned above all. Md. Moazzam has requested all to derive truth only as the universal objective for all religious sects enjoying equal  status before Indian constitution. Md. Khalid discussed about the resemblance between Roza & Upwas and called this as a common ritual within different faiths. Mr. Arjun Yadav has insisted for social harmony and blamed urban intellectuals for religious controversies. Religion is always only one but paths are varied and they all value renunciation or sacrifice, Mr. Islam Khan explained.

Also Mr. Swaroop Chand Jain, Mr. Awdhesh Pandey, Dr. Vishwanath Azad, Mr. Bhagwan Singh and Mrs. Usha Bahen have addressed the symposium and they termed the religions/faiths as a medium to disseminate love for all. Mr. Satish Girija (Secretary, NBJK) delivered vote of thanks at the end while Mr. Shankar Rana (State Coordinator,  Jharkhand State Lok Samiti) has coducted the dais.

The symposium was followed by Dawat-e-Iftaar and about 250 men, women & children from nearby villages like Oriya, Amrit Nagar, Nutan Nagar, Sakhiya, Lalpur etc. have participated in this collective dine. Mr. Rajeev Singh, Md. Nayeem, Mr. Sujit Mishra, Mr. Om Prakash Gupta, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Mr. Shtrughn Thakur were members of the organizing team for symposium and Iftaar.
