18 May 2026, Ranchi/Lohardaga: Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra (NBJK) and Jharkhand Pradesh Lok Samiti have expressed deep grief over the demise of senior social worker Shri Chandrapati Yadav Ji, Secretary of Lohardaga Gram Swarajya Sansthan (LGSS), Lohardaga, and a prominent pillar of Lok Samiti in Jharkhand. He passed away on 17 May in Hyderabad after prolonged illness.

Shri Chandrapati Yadav Ji had been actively associated with social service since his youth. Through Lohardaga Gram Swarajya Sansthan, he made significant contributions towards the upliftment of rural communities, farmers, tribal groups, and other marginalized sections of society. Under his leadership, LGSS carried out noteworthy work in the fields of education, healthcare, women empowerment, agricultural development, and promotion of self-reliant villages.

As an active leader of the non-political people’s organization Lok Samiti, Shri Yadav tirelessly worked for de-addiction campaigns, eradication of superstitions, mental health awareness, social harmony, and ensuring access to government welfare schemes for common people.

Known for his simplicity, dedication, and commitment towards society, Late Shri Chandrapati Yadav Ji was also among the close associates of Shri Girija Satish Ji, National President of Lok Samiti.

The entire NBJK and Lok Samiti family is deeply saddened by his demise and has paid heartfelt tributes to the departed soul. The organizations conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for eternal peace to his soul.
