SBI Sanjeevani-Clinic on Wheels moves on at Villages

29 May 2022, Bodhgaya: To address health care need of people in remote villages, NBJK commenced SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels from 4th April 2022 across 20 Gram Panchayats from Bodhgaya block of Gaya district in Bihar. SBI Foundation supports the project to provide health services at people’s doorstep in remote rural areas through a Mobile Clinic Van equipped with diagnostic facilities.

The unit is accompanied by a medical team with a doctor, lab technician, pharmacist and health assistant-cum-driver. It will cover a massive population of 87916 through 23 camps in a month and completed health profiling in 20 villages.

In the month of April, it organized medical camps in 17 villages with total 405 OPD. Most of the patients were found with diseases like viral fever, typhoid, malaria, blood pressure, diabetes etc. They avail diagnostic facilities on the spot and got free medicines as per advice of the doctor.

Also the patients contribute as registration fee of Rs. 20 and actual charge for diagnostics consumables. SBI Sanjeevani-Clinic on Wheels is speeding up gradually and more people are coming to its camps.
