Quick Heal Foundation @QuickHealFoundation Donates Ambulance to #LokNayakJayPrakashEyeHospital

06 October 2021, Bahera (Chauparan), Hazaribag: Mr. Ajay Shirke (Program Director-CSR, Quick Heal Foundation, Pune) has arrived at LNJP Eye Hospital, Bahera and flagged off the ambulance donated to the eye hospital from Quick Heal Foundation. He reached to the hospital with Mr. Satish Girija (Secretary, NBJK) and received by the Team LNJPEH-Bahera warmly.

Mr. Shirke distributed medicine kits among the eye patients after their cataract surgery and launched the Ambulance Service for their conveyance. After that a short meeting held in honour of Mr. Ajay Shikre and Mr. Gandharv Gaurav (Program Director, NBJK) invited him on the dais. Mr. Gaurav praised Quick Heal Foundation for the support as an ambulance and said about its requirement for transportation of the patients from remote rural areas.

On this occasion, Mr. Ajay Shirke spoke about Quick Heal, a major software company from India with net worth of about Rs. 3,000 crore, global presence and its support to social cause. Mobile Medical Van is quite useful for our rural population and it ensures deprived people’s access to health facility, he added. Mr. Shirke has suggested to share people’s grief for way out and to facilitate them towards better lives. He responded to the queries raised by local media persons. It is important that QHF is supposed to contribute 3 more ambulances to LNJPEH.

In his address, Mr. Satish Girija described about Quick Heal Foundation and valued the faith it shown towards NBJK. Also he briefed upon Eye Care program by the organization and said that there is no such Govt. service at block level where poor transportation facility exists already. There are around 30 to 35 eye disorders being dealt at LNJPEH which offers treatment at subsidized rate or free of cost with support of sponsors and the hospital contributes significantly to eradicate needless avoidable blindness, Mr. Satish Girija pointed out and expressed sincere gratitude to QHF.

Also Dr. Alok Agrawal (Sr. Ophthalmologist) was present in the program. Mr. Santosh Puri (MIS Officer) delivered vote of thanks while Mr. Vikant Singh and others have managed the event successfully.
