Netra Vasant Organizes Eye Screening Camp

24 May 2022, Bedokala (Barkattha), Hazaribagh: Under Netra Vasant – Rural Eye Health program, eye screening camp held at Bedokala Panchayat Bhawan in Barkattha block of Hazaribagh district.

Total 93 women-men from Bedokala and other nearby villages have gone through their eye checkup and 21 were identified with Cataract. 09 persons have been detected with other eye diseases and got medical consultation. All Cataract ridden patients will get free of cost surgery facility at NBJK run LNJP Eye Hospital, Bahera (Chauparan, Hazaribagh).

Mr. Praveen Kumar (Optometrist), Mr. Ranjeet Kumar, Mr. Dinesh Kumar, Mr. Lakhan with Mr. Kirti Rawat (DPM-REH, Sightsavers) contributed to the eye camp.

It’s noteworthy that as a combined effort by Sightsavers-NPCB-Govt. of Jharkhand-NBJK, Netra Vasant is being implemented in rural areas of Hazaribagh district.
