01 December 2025, Chouparan, Hazaribagh (Jharkhand): Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra (NBJK) successfully provided 6,709 breakfasts and an equal number of lunches to students across its schools in Chouparan block between 20 and 30 November 2025. This initiative is supported by Feeding India, a Zomato Giveback programme dedicated to improving child nutrition in rural India.
During this period, children were served sprouted gram or green gram with milk for breakfast and rice, pulses, and vegetables for lunch on every school day, ensuring a balanced and nutritious diet.
The distribution of meals across schools is as follows:
* Amoli Apurva High School, Mangarh: 2,156 meals
* Amoli Apurva Middle School, Bahera: 1,666 meals
* Amoli Apurva Middle School, Prajapat Nagar: 1,520 meals
* Chandrakala Devi Daga High School, Kewaliya: 1,367 meals
Parents have widely appreciated this regular provision of nutritious food, noting improved energy levels among children. The programme has also strengthened social bonds among students as they share the same meals every day.
NBJK extends its gratitude to Feeding India for supporting this important effort to improve children’s nutrition and learning outcomes in rural Jharkhand.
