02 September 2025, Jharkhand-Bihar: Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra (NBJK) has made remarkable progress in the field of education, reaching thousands of children across Jharkhand and Bihar.

Here are some key features that NBJK:

  • Supported 4,207 children (including 2,181 girls) with pre-schooling and schooling.
  • Provided freeship/sponsorship to 1,547 children (1,271 girls).
  • Distributed 160 bicycles to schoolgirls to promote access to education.
  • Of 733 Class X students (496 girls), 441 (317 girls) secured First Division, with an overall pass rate of 96%.
  • Reached 16,600+ children through schools, learning centers, and child-friendly initiatives.

NBJK currently runs schools including Amoli Apurva Middle Schools, Amoli Apurva High School, Roshni Dhruv High School, Komal Pujan Public School, Birsa Public School, Surekha Prakash Bhai Public School, and Chandrakala Devi High School, spread across Chouparan, Ichak, Churchu blocks of Hazaribagh district and Bodhgaya block of Gaya district.

Special initiatives included:

  • Girls’ Education Program in four districts of Jharkhand and Bihar through five partner organizations.
  • Child-friendly programs such as Nav Jagriti in Gaya district (with support from Kindernothilfe) and the Child Reporters Program in Ranchi and West Singhbhum districts (with support from UNICEF Jharkhand).

Through these initiatives, NBJK continues to reaffirm its commitment to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve their potential.
