sense210 – 11 August 2015, Patna: a regional network meeting was organized by Sense International India at Sewa Kendra, Patna and partner VOs from West Bengal, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Orissa have sent their teams including parents of deafblind children.  The meeting was organized under Abhiprerna & Prayas network. NBJK works with deafblind children in Hazaribag, Ramgarh and Ranchi districts of Jharkhand. Its team was represented by project staff and parents of such children from the districts. Mr. Deepak Sharma (Senior Network Officer, Sense) has explained the importance of network and weighed for advocacy to minimize the problems with deafblind children. He stressed over the need of organizing local network linked with the families of db cases to be a voice still unrepresented. Ms Mallika Das (In-charge, Abhiprerna-east zone) and Ms Annapurna Maruvda (Counselor) have focused upon activities and behaviors to deal with any db child. They shared important information needed in this field of a delicate intervention and ensured demonstration of some of the activities by participants also. NBJK group was comprised by Mr. Paras Kumar Mahto, Mr. Gopal Ram (Hazaribag), Mr. Abhay Kumar, Mr. Mukesh Kumar Mahto, Mrs. Sunita Devi (Ramgarh), Mr. Mahendra Kumar Sinha and Mr. Krishna Chandra Mahto (Ranchi).
