26 January 2018, Hazaribag: 69th Republic Day of the nation was observed gracefully at NBJK coordination office and Mr Girija Satish (President, NBJK) has hoisted the national flag. He conveyed his best wishes to all staffs, trainees, community people on this occasion and appealed them to bridge the gap of social discriminations. He said that we must shun liquor to make our families more equal and violence free. As the citizens of India, we are bound to perform some duties also for our nation, Mr. Girija Satish has reminded.
Mr. Satish Girija (Secretary, NBJK) has mentioned the Republic Day as an opportunity to revive our national life and said that NBJK stands as an awakening centre to visualize new India. We worked towards women empowerment through the programmes of girls’ education, SHGs, reproductive health, Family Counselling Centre while our interventions as skill development training for youths, eye care, rights of PwDs, Lok Samiti have enabled thousands of people to make their lives better, Mr. Satish Girija added. Mr. Prabhu Nath Sharma (Treasurer, NBJK) has termed the day as resolution day also and asked the youths to channelize their energy in right direction. He said that all great leaders have treasured honesty and integrity in their hearts and reached their goals absolutely.
Also a tableau upon the activities of Child Centred Community Development programme (with support of Plan India) at Churchu block has participated in the Republic Day celebration by District administration. This depicted about basic expectations of our school children. This shown a model school with attractive class-room, interesting teaching-learning materials, sanitation & health checkup facilities. NBJK tableau was widely appreciated by the spectators. Republic Day was celebrated at all branch offices and schools run by NBJK.
