Muzaffarpur Lok Samiti Resolves to Strengthen Membership Drive

21 September 2025, Muzaffarpur: An extended meeting of Muzaffarpur District Lok Samiti was held at the auditorium of Gramin Jan Kalyan Parishad under the chairmanship of District President Mr. Maqbool Ahmad. The meeting was addressed by Mr. Shivji Singh, State General Secretary of Bihar Lok Samiti, who highlighted that Lok Samiti, founded by Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan in 1977, has been committed to fighting corruption, unemployment, social evils, and advocating for farmers, laborers, education, health, and equality.

The meeting unanimously resolved to intensify the membership drive in Muzaffarpur district in the coming months. It also extended support to the upcoming nationwide padyatra organized by Sarva Seva Sangh from Rajghat, Varanasi to Rajghat, New Delhi (2 October–26 November 2025).

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the District President of Lok Samiti.
