15 June 2015, Bodhgaya: Now the children of Lord Buddha Home for Children have more books to enjoy. LBHC, the orphanage by NBJK with support of SKB (the Netherlands) has added this facility to promote love for good books among youngsters. A library has been started here with necessary items like cupboards, sign board, carpet, battery, inverter and computer. It has purchased 197 books in English from Pratham Books, 113 in Hindi from Eklavya Prakashan and 100 other books like autobiography, motivational, stories, comics and periodical magazines initially to compete with the interest of adolescent readers. LBHC children use to visit their library, feel the dignity of good books and like to be upgraded with the enormous knowledge they possess. The library has a time-table to visit and younger children go there on every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday for two hours. Since the children are growing and they need good friends as the books at this point, said Mr. Pawan Lal Gupta (Manager, LBHC) after opening of the library.
