Farmers Get Cows under #SBIGramSeva program @SBIFoundationIndia @SBI_FOUNDATION

15 December 2021, Saraun, Chakai (Jamui, Bihar): Through the program of SBI Gram Seva with support of SBI Foundation-Mumbai, NBJK has distributed 10 cows among 10 farmers from Hethchakai, Patjori, Garahi, Chhchhudih & Mangtadih villages.

Mr. Ashok Kumar (BAO, Chakai) and Mr. Ashutosh Kr. Ravi (President, AAC) have allotted the cows among needy villagers. The cows have been handed out among Mrs. Munni Devi with Messrs Shailesh Sah, Basuki Yadav, Niwas Ray, Ratish Ray, Shankar Ram, Baijnath Das, Karu Das, Umesh Turi and Vishun Dev Rawat. The Block Agriculture Officer has praised SBIF-NBJK’s initiative to empower farmers with animal husbandry.

Mr. S. K. Azal (Program Manager, NBJK) said that our farmers can get milk, dung and calf/ox with help of these cows. These beneficiaries have invested only 25% of the cost and received remaining 75% as program grant for their cows; he clarified and mentioned about developmental activities at these five villages.

Also Mr. Dhirendra Kr. Dheeraj, Mr. Rajesh Pandey, Mr. Neeraj Kr. Nagina & other dignitaries of the area were present on the occasion.
