#FamilyCounselingCenter @ministryWCD organized its Sub-Committee Meeting

30 September 2021, Hazaribag: The Family Counseling Center (FCC) run by NBJK with support of Central Social Welfare Board-New Delhi & Jharkhand State Social Welfare Board-Ranchi has organized it’s Sub-Committee meeting at the office of Anupam Mahila Chetna Samiti, Ravindra Path, Hazaribag.

The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Usha Devi (Secretary, AMCS) who suggested for increasing the number of cases at FCC and for inviting the Mukhiya of concerning village with objective to resolve rural disputes locally. Mr. Umesh Kumar from Holycross has recommended for a campaign by the members of sub-committee to sortout backlog cases from all blocks of Hazaribag district. Mr. Arvind Jha (Advocate) advised to publicize the activities of FCC to intervene and solve more cases of domestic unrest.

Mrs. Meera Gupta (Counselor, FCC) has tabled the quarterly work report of FCC before Sub-committee members and said that total 35 cases of familial disputes have been registered during this period as Husband-wife clash (12), Alcohol born violence (7), Mental-physical torture (6), Row with in-laws (7) as well as Others (3) and 22 cases have been patched up overall.

Also Ms Mamta Kumari, Mr. Chandan Kumar (Stri Shakti) and Mr. Sanjay Kumar (Counselor, FCC) have participated in the meeting.
