#FamilyCounselingCenter @MinistryWCD @NIPCCD Organizes Its Sub-Committee Meeting

03 July 2021, Hazaribag: With support of Central Social Welfare Board-New Delhi and Jharkhand State Social Welfare Board-Ranchi, NBJK run Family counseling Center (FCC) has organized its Sub-committee meeting.

The meeting held at the premises of Women Police Station (WPS), Hazaribag on 28th June and chaired by Mrs. Binu Kodiyar (Officer I/c, WPS). She suggested for formation of a body as Pariwar Kalyan Samiti (PKS) linked to WPS with members of FCC Sub-committee to co-operate in settlement of the cases with PKS & FCC, so that more families can be saved from breakup. Also she advised to hold monthly meeting of PKS.

In the meeting, Sub-committee members have expressed serious concern over mobile phone caused growing trend of criminality among youths and they appealed the parents for healthy interaction with their wards to correct them on time.

During the meeting, Mrs. Meera Gupta (Counselor, FCC) has tabled the quarterly report (April-June’21) of FCC before the members and said about registration of total 34 cases at FCC for this period. Out of these cases, marital dispute (14), separation from son & daughter-in-law (7), familial unrest by liquor (8), dispute with mother/father-in-law (3) and extra-marital relation (2) have been attended by FCC and we could be able resolve 19 cases, she informed.

Mr. Satish Girija (Secretary, NBJK), Mr. Tulsi Dubey (Advocate), Mrs. Sheela Kumari (Secretary, Stri Shakti), Mrs. Usha (Anupam Mahila Chetna), Mrs. Sharda Devi (Sashakt Nari Utthan), Mr. Umesh Kumar Saw, Mrs. Roli Kumari, Ms Asima Lakra and Mr. Sanjay Kumar (Counselor, FCC) have participated in the meeting.
