Family Counselling Centre’s Sub-Committee Meets

21 September 2022, Hazaribagh: The Sub-Committee meeting of Family Counselling Centre run by NBJK with support of Central & State Social Welfare Boards, held at Anupam Mahila Chetna Samiti, Ravindra Path.

Mr. Satish Girija (Secretary, NBJK) has presided the meeting. Also Mr. Dinesh Mahto (Mukhiya, Rola Panchayat) and Mr. Ashok Kumar Yadav (Sarpanch, Oriya Panchayat) have attended the event and said that this programme should include Panchayati Raj Institutions with its reconciliation mechanism. They suggested inviting PRIs members & representatives in next sub-committee meeting of FCC for better understanding of the cases and to ensure their speedy settlements.

On this occasion, Mrs. Meera Gupta (Counsellor, FCC) has placed quarterly report of FCC for July-September’22. She said that during the period, FCC has registered total 29 cases of family disputes as marital-14, extra-marital relation-05, liquor borne-04, in-laws related-02, witchery-01, land-01 and other-02. Out of these, 16 cases have been reconciled, she informed.

The meeting was participated by Mrs. Sheela Kumari (Stri Shakti), Mrs. Usha Devi (Anupam Mahila Chetna Samiti), Mrs. Sharda Devi (Sashakt Nari Utthan), Mr. Umesh Kumar (Holy Cross Social Welfare Centre), Mr. Arvind Jha (Advocate) and Mr. Avinash Kumar (Intern, Asian Law College, Noida).
