Empowering Farmers, Transforming Lives!

10 January 2025, Deoghar: Under the SBI Gram Saksham Program, supported by SBI Foundation and implemented by NBJK, 20 Farmer Groups from villages like Alagjara, Aranja, Semradih, and others in Deoghar Sadar block have received 20 electric motor pump sets for irrigation on 9th January. This initiative is uplifting 120 small farmers, enabling sustainable agriculture and improving livelihoods.

Beyond this, SBI Gram Saksham has revitalized 100 wells and 24 ponds, ensuring year-round water availability across 30 villages in Deoghar and Jamui districts.

Previously, through SBI Gram Seva, NBJK bridged the digital divide, provided scholarships, skill training, and promoted better farming techniques. These projects exemplify village-centered interventions that drive self-reliance and socio-economic growth.
