12 May 2026, Hazaribagh: A two-day Digital Literacy Training Program for 41 women entrepreneurs associated with the Usha Silai School Program was organized on 11-12 May at Hotel Dolphino Resort, Hazaribagh, under Project Asha of Usha International Limited.
The program was organized by the Asian Development Bank Institute with support from Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra (NBJK). Participants received training on the practical use of mobile phones, internet services, Artificial Intelligence tools, financial literacy, government welfare schemes, and business management skills.
The objective of the training was to promote digital inclusion and strengthen the entrepreneurial capacities of rural women for their personal and professional growth.
The sessions were facilitated by Ankita Tiwari and Mohsin Khan from Haqdarshak, with support from Felix Tirkey, State Program Officer-UIL, and Shailesh Kumar, Program Coordinator-NBJK.
The initiative reflects the collective efforts of partner organizations towards creating digitally empowered, financially aware, and self-reliant women entrepreneurs in Jharkhand.
