19 May 2026, Giridih: A two-day Digital Literacy Training Program for women entrepreneurs associated with the Usha Silai School Program was organized at Hotel Vrindavan, Giridih on 14-15 May, under Project Asha of Usha International Limited.

The program was organized by the Asian Development Bank Institute with support from Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra (NBJK). A total of 42 women entrepreneurs participated in the training program.

The training focused on the practical use of mobile phones, internet services, Artificial Intelligence tools, financial literacy, government welfare schemes, and business management skills. The objective of the initiative was to promote digital inclusion and strengthen the entrepreneurial capacities of rural women for their personal and professional growth.

The sessions were facilitated by Ankita Tiwari and Mohsin Khan from Haqdarshak, with support from Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Program Coordinator-NBJK.

The organizers stated that such initiatives play an important role in creating digitally empowered, financially aware, and self-reliant women entrepreneurs in Jharkhand.
