25 October, Hazaribag: A joyful outing was organized for deafblind children under the program of Services for them with support of Sense India, Ahmedabad. There were 40 children and their parents/carers in the event organized at Swarn Jayanti Park Cafeteria campus in Hazaribag.
Md. Nayeem (Asst. Program Manager) has led them for this picnic and said that such children deserve outing to share their feelings, mostly blocked within four walls of their houses. At the park, all children and their parents have participated in interesting activities like drawing, games, swings and others. All they talked to each other, spent quality time and had a tasteful lunch together. NBJK provides them home/center based services for activities of daily living, physiotherapy, reading/writing skills, braille script, sign language, communication, cognition, socialization etc. and cooperate with their parents for caring of such children.
Its significant that NBJK has been working with deafblind children since the year 2009 under guidance of Sense India and trying to reduce daily hurdles from innocent lives. Mr. Paras Nath Mahto (Special Teacher), Mr. Mukesh Kumar Suman (Physiotherapist), Mrs. Rashmi Parveen, Mrs. Tanuja Khatoon and Mrs. Indu Gupta (Field Staffs) have contributed to the event.
