20 June 2026, Hazaribagh: Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra (NBJK) successfully organized a two-day Capacity Building Training for RCC (Remedial Coaching Classes) Teachers under the Girls’ Education Program with support of Action Village India (AVI) commenced today.

The training brought together 18 participants, including 12 RCC teachers, 5 teachers from BPHS Deokuli, and one community leader, Ms. Pratima Kumari from Simaria, Chatra. The sessions were facilitated by Master Trainer Mr. Adin Mahto, who has been associated with NBJK for the past 36 years.

The training focused on addressing key learning challenges in RCC centers, including student absenteeism, language-related learning gaps, academic progress monitoring, and record maintenance. Participants were also oriented on the role of teachers in shaping socially responsible citizens, the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, learner-centered pedagogy, children’s and adolescent girls’ rights, rights of learners with disabilities, phonics-based teaching, lesson planning, and effective use of Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs).

Special emphasis was placed on transforming Low Achieving Learners (LAL) into High Achieving Learners (HAL) through group learning and self-learning approaches.

The program was attended by Supervisor Mr. Abhay Kumar, Project Manager Mr. Priyanshu, and Mr. Ritesh.
