Breaking Barriers, Brightening Visions!

06 January 2024, Deoghar: In December’23, Vimla Ramkrishna Bajaj Eye Hospital-Deoghar teamed up with Sightsavers India and SBI Foundation to conduct 51 eye screening camps across 150+ villages in Deoghar, Jamui, and Giridih districts, reaching remote areas to touch lives.

With 1079 OPD check-ups, we’ve identified and are supporting 596 cases of Cataract, 45 cases of Pterygium, and 226 cases of Refractive Errors. Our dedicated teams provided medication to 66 patients, gave immediate glasses to 21, and ensured urgent referrals for 111 individuals to our Vision Centers or base hospital.

The amazing personnel from Jhajha, Jasidih, and Giridih Vision Centers joined forces with VRBEH’s support team, ensuring comprehensive care for those in need. Our commitment extends beyond identification – every cataract patient receives free transportation, accommodation, and surgery at our hospital for a life-changing transformation.
