3rd Annual General Meeting of MNSKPCL

30 September 2021, Khunti: Third annual general meeting of #MurhuNariShaktiKisanProducerCompanyLimited held at local town hall. MNSKPCL  has been promoted as a producer company under Mission 2020: Lakhpati Kisan-Smart Village, the program by NBJK with support of CInI @cinicell & Tata Trusts @tatatrusts Mr. Arun Kumar Singh (DDC, Khunti) has inaugurated the AGM by lighting the lamp. Also Mr. Shailesh Ranjan (DPM, JSLPS), Mr. Shrishendu Paul (Regional Manager, Tata Trusts), Mr. Mohit Purty (BM, NBJK) and Ms Garima Kumari (CInI-Tata Trusts) ave graced the event as special gusts.

In his inaugural address, the DDC said that though women are working in every district of Jharkhand but the women of Murhu are walking extra miles. The work by MNSKPCL is appreciable and its turnover is better than other companies comparatively, he pointed out.

Mr. Vipin Bihari (Program Director, JOHAR-JSLPS) commended the company and shared detail information about JOHAR with Didis present in the meeting.

Mr. Shrishendu Paul praised the Didis of MNSKPCL in association with Lakhpati Kisan project, have made 2100 families as Lakhpatis in a naxal affected block like Murhu within a short period of three years only. He assured that the company will initiate many new activities and updated about establishment of Nursery Protray Making Machine as well as processing units of Finger Millet & Lac in progress.

Mr. Shailesh Ranjan has asserted that JSLPS will cooperate to the new interventions by MNSKPCL, valued the work by didis and conveyed his best wishes to them for a bright future.

It is significant that MNSKPCL was established in the year 2018, its turnover reached to Rs. 3 Crore 7 Lakh till March 2021 and 2835 shareholder women are associated with the company. It involves with the works like high value agriculture, lac cultivation, piggery, goatery, poultry, fishery etc. It ensures agriculture based Geo Tag Data Collection with 9 Polyhouses, 9 piggery entrepreneurs, 1 solar cold storage, Better Life Farming Center, Cropping and the company is linked with the projects like Lakhpati Kisan, JOHAR too.

After report submission during this third Annual General Meeting, the company’s shareholders have selected Mrs. Dayamani Nag as the new director second time unanimously. She said that remaining farmer didis of Murhu will be connected with MNSKPCL soon.

Mr. Pravin Kumar (CEO, MNSKPCL) stated that we have set the target of Rs. 5 Crore as our turnover this year which is no doubt challenging but at the same time nothing before zeal of our didis. Mr. Anil Hassa and Ms Roshni Topno have anchored the dais.
