2368 OPD from 126 Villages at #COVIDCareRuralOutreachCamps

06 July 2021, Hazaribag: With support of GiveIndia @GiveIndia US GiveIndia Foundation, Skoll Foundation @SkollFoundation and Linde @LindeIndia @LindeIndia1, NBJK run program of COVID Care Rural Outreach Camps is providing a doorstep medical care service for the people live at remote villages.

During such 32 outreach camps in between 15 June-03 July, total 2368 persons from 126 villages of Sadar, Daroo & Katkamdag blocks have turned up for their checkup of BP, Sugar, Oxygen Level, Fever, Cold-Cough/Throat Infection etc. 185 & 386 have been identified with high BP and high sugar respectively.

In these camps, around 85% people have got free medicines as per symptoms of diseases, as prescribed by the doctor during the camps. Till 3rd July, 36 Rural Medical Practitioners have received Infrared Thermometer, Oximeter & Sanitizer for each to improve their service.

Two teams comprised of 1 Program Manager, 2 drivers, 2 ANMs, 2 mobilizers and 2 MBBS doctors are working tirelessly to make these Covid Care outreach camps a success.

The program aims to reach about 9000 people in 430 villages of Hazaribag with a clear message to defeat COVID.
