07 February 2020, Maangarh (Chouparan, Hazaribag): NBJK run Amoli Apurva High School has celebrated its 24th foundation day enthusiastically. The function was inaugurated by Mr. Dayanand Singh (Head Master, AAHS), Mr. Kamdev Rana, Mr. Ambika Singh, Mr. Madan Kr. Saw, Mr. Sachindra Pandey (all teachers) in dignified presence of Mr. Girija Satish (President, NBJK), Mr. Arjun Pandey (ex-mukhiya & President-SMC), Mrs. Arti Devi (Mukhiya), Mr. Pradeep Chandravanshi, Mr. Ramlakhan Pandey, Mr. Vijay Singh and Mr. Hemant Sahoo (former teacher).
The school children have presented welcome song and performed attractive songs & dances on this occasion. Mr. Girija Satish said that the school is committed to provide quality education with vocational orientation to local girls & boys at very low cost. Mr. Arjun Pandey has appreciated teachers & students of Amoli Apurva High School for their hard work despite limited resources. The school is like a boon for Maangarh and neighborhood villages, he opined. Mr. Hemant Sahoo has praised the school teachers for their devotion and grooming of children in a responsible way.

07 February 2020, Amrit Nagar (Hazaribag): Under the auspices of Swavalamban project by SIDBI & Usha International jointly, weeklong residential training upon Sewing Machine Maintenance-cum-Tailoring started for 35 women trainees. They came from different villages under Bengabad block of Giridih district. After completion of their training, each woman will get a new sewing machine along with various resource materials to open Usha Swavalamban Silai School at their respective places.
While inaugurating the training, Mr. Prabhu Nath Sharma (Treasurer, NBJK) called Usha Company’s initiative as a significant step towards women empowerment. Before this, Mr. Ritesh Lohani (Program Officer, Usha International) said that to understand the system of sewing machine, disassembly & installation of its parts are equally important and the women are supposed to acquire such knowledge also here. Mr. Harish Kumar (Usha-Bhopal) has informed that Usha Siali Schools are running at 5,700 villages in India with support of 61 organizations like NBJK. Mrs. Kshama Kumari (Usha-Lucknow) appealed women trainees to get benefit of this intensive training.
The trainers’ team comprises Mrs. Sandhya Agrawal, Mr. Felix, Mr. Balveer & Mr. Kamaljeet. Mr. Shailesh Kumar and Mr. Bhubaneshwar Prasad are in support team from NBJK.
05 Feb 2020, Jangla (Kathikund, Dumka): Meeting of Jagriti Kisan Club in Jangla village, discussion to draw money from club for pump set, Mr. Elin Hembrum, an active volunteer of Agriculture Technology Management Agency -Dumka explained many significant schemes for PwDs beneficiaries under the program of Community Based Inclusive Development for People with Disabilities with support of CBM-Bangalore.
03 – 04 February 2020, Silaunja (BodhGaya): The people are coming forward to support NBJK run orphanage Lord Buddha Home for Children initiated in the year 2005 with support from SKB-The Netherlands. Mr. Vinayak & his family members have visited LBHC on 3rd February. They distributed snacks among the children and donated Rs. 5,100 for them. Likewise on 4th February, Mrs. Kiran Kumari has donated Rs. 4000 for the orphan children of LBHC.
01 February 2020, Ormanjhi (Ranchi): Under NBJK run program of Providing Sustainable Livelihood to Youths with support of Axis Bank Foundation-Mumbai, the trainees of Welding & Fitter course have received course completion certificate from Mr. Rajdham Sahoo (social worker). He appreciated the program leads towards skill development as well as job opportunity for youths. Mr. Ankit Kumar (state program manager) said that the trainees have been provided hostel & mess facility during 3 months practical course and they would be placed through campus selection soon.

30 January 2020, Silaunja (BodhGaya): The orphan children of Lord Buddha Home for Children have celebrated Saraswati Puja with devotion. They worshiped Mother Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, music and art as well as she represents the free flow of wisdom and consciousness. May she bestow her blessings upon all the children!

30 January 2020, Giridih: On martyrdom day of Mahatma Gandhi, Giridih district unit of Lok Samiti has organized a symposium upon Gandhi & Liquor Ban at NBJK office, Makatpur, Giridih. Mr. P. N. Sharma (ex-president, Giridih district Loj Samiti) has briefed about ideology of Gandhi Ji and his relevance in present context. Mr. Kaushal Ganesh Azad (national coordinator, Lok Samiti) said that our constitution and thoughts of Gandhiji can save India’s unity. Also Mr. Ramdev Vishwabandhu, Mrs. Veena Verma, Mr. Jayshankar Agrawal, Mrs. Shalini Priya, Mr. Sanjay Thakur, Mr. Gautam Sagar, Mr. Dilip Kumar, Mrs. Geeta Devi, Mr. Sahdev Rana and others have expressed their views against liquor with other social evils like casteism, untouchability, dowry and superstition on the occasion. Mr. Vasudev Pandit (social activist) anchored the meeting.
28 January 2020, Dumka: Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) & Horticulture Mission have provided motor pump sets to 50 farmers of Inclusive Kisan Club promoted under the program of Community Based Inclusive Development for PwDs with support of CBM-Bangalore. There are 20 Inclusive Kisan Clubs with farmers with disabilities in the district.
