17 October 2026, Hazaribagh: Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra (NBJK), with support from Eternal Foundation under the Feeding India Programme, provided nutritious breakfasts and lunches to children at its four rural schools in Chouparan block of Hazaribagh district during 12 school days from 1–15 October 2026.
The beneficiary schools are Amoli Apurva High School, Mangarh; Amoli Apurva Middle School, Bahera; Amoli Apurva Middle School, Prajapat Nagar; and Chandrakal Devi Daga High School, Kewaliya.
The breakfast menu includes sprouted gram or green gram with milk, while lunch consists of rice, pulses and vegetables. The initiative supports children’s nutritional needs and encourages their continued participation in education.
This is a new initiative among low-cost private schools in the rural area and is receiving appreciation from the local community. It benefits children from economically disadvantaged families and provides relief to parents, many of whom work as daily-wage labourers.
Through this programme, NBJK and Eternal Foundation are helping strengthen child nutrition, educational continuity and family well-being in rural communities.
