🇮🇳 Republic Day Celebrations at NBJK 🇮🇳

26 January 2026, Amrit Nagar (Hazaribagh, Jharkhand): Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra (NBJK) celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm at its Coordination Office, Amrit Nagar. The National Flag was hoisted by Shri Girija Satish, President, NBJK.

In his address, Shri Girija Satish highlighted the fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution and stressed the need to safeguard them. Expressing concern over growing global unrest, he called for peaceful solutions through the Gandhian path, reminding everyone that the world is one family and that national boundaries are artificial when humanity is at stake.

Extending Republic Day greetings to all, Shri Satish Girija, Secretary, NBJK, emphasized the importance of understanding Mahatma Gandhi’s ideals. He also spoke about changing trends in the development sector, noting the increasing role of CSR support and the challenges faced by smaller organizations due to new FCRA norms. He shared that with the support of Signify, NBJK is installing fans and tube lights in over 200 schools across Chauparan, Barhi and Sadar blocks of Hazaribagh district, while the institutions like Azim Premji Foundation and Cummins are extending their support. Today, NBJK’s work reaches over 5,000 villages across Jharkhand and Bihar.

Programme Director Shri Gandharva Gaurav urged everyone to strive to become responsible citizens so that the fundamental rights of every individual are protected.

The celebration witnessed the participation of NBJK staff, local children and community members. Republic Day was also joyfully celebrated at NBJK-run schools, eye hospitals and branch offices.
