29 September 2025, Chouparan (Hazaribagh): In a remarkable effort to support the nutrition and well-being of rural children, Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra (NBJK) served 6,085 breakfasts and an equal number of lunches between 18th and 27th September 2025 across its four schools in Chouparan block, Hazaribagh district. The schools include:
* Amoli Apurva High School – Mangarh
* Amoli Apurva Middle School – Bahera
* Amoli Apurva Middle School – Prajapat Nagar
* Chandrakala Devi Daga High School – Kewaliya
The children are provided sprouted gram or green gram with milk for breakfast and a wholesome lunch of rice, pulses, and vegetables each school day.
This initiative is generously supported by Feeding India, a Zomato Giveback Initiative, which has sponsored meals for NBJK students for over a year. The program not only ensures that children from weaker sections of society receive nutritious meals but also relieves parents—especially mothers—from the responsibility of preparing daily meals.
Through this effort, NBJK aims to promote health, social bonding, and overall well-being among its students while fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment.
