Special Secretary cum Adviser Visits NBJK’s Lakhpati Kisan Project Villages

13 September 2025, Murhu (Khunti), Jharkhand: Mr. Pradeep Hazari, Special Secretary-cum-Adviser at the Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Cooperative, Government of Jharkhand, visited the villages under the Lakhpati Kisan Project facilitated by Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra (NBJK) with financial support from Collectives for Integrated Livelihood Initiatives (CInI) – Tata Trusts.

During the visit, Mr. Hazari interacted with Production Patch Farmers and the Directors of Murhu Nari Shakti Kisan Producer Company Limited (MNSKPCL), promoted under the project. He also visited the FPO office and Millet Processing Unit, which is being run by MNSKPCL with support from the World Resources Institute (WRI).

Recognizing the efforts of farmers and NBJK in strengthening sustainable livelihoods, Mr. Hazari assured grant support for MNSKPCL and another Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) at Chanho, Ranchi, promoted by NBJK.

NBJK expressed its gratitude to Mr. Hazari for his encouragement and commitment to the growth of farmer-led institutions and rural entrepreneurship.
