SBI Sanjeevani Clinic on Wheels: Bridging Healthcare Gaps in Rural Bihar

09 February 2024, Gaya: We are proud to share about our collaboration with SBI Foundation, Mumbai, in supporting the incredible initiative of NBJK – SBI Sanjeevani Clinic on Wheels!

Covering 20 villages in Bodhgaya and Gaya Sadar blocks of Gaya district, Bihar, our mobile clinic van brings essential healthcare services to the doorstep of around 50,000 inhabitants. From on-the-spot checkups to providing crucial medicines, we’re dedicated to ensuring almost free quality primary healthcare reaches those who need it most.

In just a year, we’ve organized 1056 camps, offering successful treatment to 9434 patients, addressing a range of ailments including fever, diabetes, anemia, and gynecological disorders.

But our efforts don’t stop there! We’re also driving awareness and sanitation initiatives under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, distributing sanitary pads, and providing vital counseling on menstrual health & hygiene to adolescent girls & women.
