LokNayak JayPrakash Eye Hospital, Dumka, a beacon of eye healthcare!

10 January 2024, Dumka: With a dedicated team of skilled doctors and support staff, we provide top-notch services to our communities. Serving Dumka, Jamtara, Pakur, and Godda districts, we prioritize affordable and high-quality eye care for all. Our Vision Center in Saraiyahat extends accessibility to rural villagers, ensuring no one is left without essential eye health services.

Under Netra Vasant-Rural Eye Health Program, we screened 15,171 individuals across 81 camps, offering primary eye screenings. Last year, 12,634 received OPD services, 1,990 underwent Cataract Surgery, and 9,070 received Refraction at our hospital. Through partnerships with PMJAY-Ayushman and collaboration with District Blindness Control Society, we aim to eliminate avoidable blindness among the underprivileged.

Empowered by an adept Counseling Team, we promote advanced Cataract surgeries and train frontline health workers for early identification and treatment. With the support of CBM India-Bangalore and Sightsavers India-Kolkata, we stride forward in our mission. Together, let’s envision a future where eye care is accessible to all!
