27 December 2023, Bodhgaya (Gaya): Under the auspices of SBI Foundation, the SBI Sanjeevani Clinic on Wheels, in collaboration with NBJK, has conducted three transformative health initiatives in the heart of Bodhgaya block, Gaya district.
Atiya Village Health Camp: On 23rd December, a specialized health camp targeted Anemia and Diabetes. 131 individuals, including Persons with Disabilities, Children, and the elderly, received consultations. Out of 25 sugar level tests, 11 people were identified as diabetic. Moreover, 19 women underwent hemoglobin checkups, with 07 diagnosed as anemic. All patients received free consultations and medications.
Mocharim Village Health Awareness Camp: On 25th December, 111 villagers benefited from health awareness sessions, counseling, and advice from doctors. The focus was on diet, disease prevention, and promoting institutional delivery for pregnant women.
Khajwati Village’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan: On 26th December, approximately 250 villagers joined hands for sanitation and hygiene upkeep. With active participation from Mr. Brajesh Thakur (Mukhiya), the drive included sanitation efforts, distribution of sanitary napkins, brooms, and dustbins. Additionally, an Eye Screening Camp catered to 50 individuals, identifying 08 with Cataract and 01 with Pterygium, all referred for further treatment.
