20 December 2022, Hazaribagh: Under the Young India project run by Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra in collaboration with UTI Mutual Fund, Mission Rozgar Training Centre-Hazaribagh has organized a meeting with employers.
MRTC imparts skill development training to the youth and the meeting was called to link them to employment. Representatives of commercial, medical, cosmetics business sector have participated in this meeting as potential employers.
Welcoming them, Mr. Rupesh Mallick (Centre Coordinator) said that by providing level training to the youth in trades like Basic Computer Applications, Tailoring, Nursing/General Duty Assistant and Beautician, they are prepared as a skilled workforce to contribute for development of their employers in a better way. He informed that the employment ratio of MRTC trained youth is about 65% and efforts are being made to increase it further.
In this meeting with employers, Mr. Subhash Kumar from Apna Mart, Mr. Ranjit Kumar Sinha & Ms. Farhat Jehan from Saksham Jharkhand Skill Development, Mr. Tariq Raza from Nayee Kiran-Razia Eye Hospital and beauty therapist Mrs. Bharti Kumari were present. Assuring placement of trained youth with their establishments, they emphasized over On-Job Training so that the trainees can get information about their job profiles and concerned responsibilities. The employers advised the trainees to be passionate about the work and develop an attitude of always learning.
Apart from the trainee youth, MRTC placement officer Mr. Mrityunjay Jha and faculty members also participated in the meeting.
