Honour to the Ophthalmologist of LNJP Eye Hospital on World Sight Day

12 October 2022, Ranchi: With support of Sightsavers and under the joint auspices of National Programme for Control of Blindness & Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society, Dr. Alok Kumar from LNJPEH, Bahera has been honoured on the occasion of World Sight Day.

Dr. Alok is a Senior Ophthalmologist at NBJK run LNJP Eye Hospital, Bahera (Chouparan, Hazaribagh). The honour has been conferred to him because of record Cataract Surgery he performed at LNJPEH.

The felicitation ceremony was graced by the Mission Director (NHM), Dr. Krishna Kumar (Director-Health Services, GoJ), Dr. Ranjit Prasad (Nodal Officer), Mr. Vishnu C.
