29 January 20022, Hazaribagh: The teachers of Remedial Coaching Centres run by NBJK for school girls with support of Action Village India, UK @actionvillageindia @ActionVillageIn have participated in an orientation training organized for them at the premise of NBJK Coordination office. At very outset of the program, a rich tribute was paid to late P. N. Sharma (founder member & treasurer, NBJK).
These teachers came from 17 RCCs operational in the villages of Sadar, Katkamdaag and Katkamsaandi blocks of Hazaribagh district. This training was focused upon simplifying the contents of subjects like Mathematics, Science & English of class 8th, 9th & 10th for easy understanding by students. The resource persons have demonstrated problem solving as per the syllabus and encouraged participants to provide feedback for better output.
On this occasion, Mr. Ateesh Pingua (Program Manager) said that besides regular teaching, our teachers should impart some time with students as well as their parents for developing a rational mindset among them to counter gender inequality and anti-women perception.
Mr. Abhay Kumar arranged the training while Mr. Ganesh Vishwakarma and Mr. Naveen Kumar have contributed as resource teachers.
