15 July 2021, Chakai & Deoghar: On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, SBI Foundation-Mumbai @SBIFoundationIndia @SBI_FOUNDATION supported & NBJK run SBI Gram Seva program beneficiaries have observed the day enthusiastically.
At Chhachudih village in Chakai block (dist-Jamui, Bihar), young farmers have joined orientation-cum-training towards the Govt. run Community Tube Well Scheme, Horticulture Mission & Kitchen Gardening. Mr. Rituraj (Block Technical Manager, Chakai) was the resource person who discussed about the condition, process & technique to be a part of these profit making interventions carried out by the Government in rural areas. He said that Community Tube Well Scheme needs a group of 8 to 25 farmers with 12 acres of land to ensure irrigation facility while Kitchen Gardening can draw more income for small farmers by growing different vegetables at a place. Likewise medicinal plants have good market now and growers can initiate with substantial support from the Government, he added. Also he visited some plots to guess about viability of the schemes. Total 85 farmers participated in the event.
At Ramaldih village in Deoghar Sadar block (dist-Deoghar, Jharkhand), women beneficiaries of skill development training have celebrated Youth Skills Day gracefully.
Mr. S. K. Aizal (Program Manager,SBIGS- Chakai), Mr. Jitendra Kumar (Program Manager, SBIGS-Deoghar), Mr. Dhirendra Dheeraj, Mr. Mahendra Ray, Mr. Umesh Yadav and many others have contributed to the affair.
