#LokSamiti Organizes 44th Foundation Day

30 June 2021, Khardiha (Deo, Aurangabad): Bihar Pradesh Lok Samiti has organized its 44th Foundation Day at the birth place of late Tripurari Sharan (Ex-President, National Lok Samiti). On 28th June, his 8th death anniversary was deeply mourned by his followers. This resulted as a Workers Convention and Mr. Jagannath Singh (President, BSLS) was on the chair. This began with lighting of lamp and by offering garlands, flowers over picture of Tripurari Babu. Also Lok Samiti’s flag hoisting ceremony took place and people have expressed their condolences for all the friends who left this world because of Covid or some other reasons may be. Mr. Girija Satish (President, National Lok Samiti) and Mr. Anand Shankar Singh (Hon. MLA, Aurangabad Sadar) have inaugurated the convention jointly.

In his address, Mr. Girija Satish remembered Tripurari Babu’s life is an ideal example of creative struggle, talked upon his contribution to Khadi sector and mentioned about farmers’ compulsion to sell their produces below cost price and lack of purchase centers. He appealed for support to anti-liquor law.

Mr. Anand Shankar Singh (Hon. MLA) praised late Tripurari Sharan as a social heritage, guide, Gandhian worker and a virtuous, dutiful person. He said about the multi-purpose spinning wheel developed by Tripurari Babu.

Mr. Kaushal Ganesh Azad (National Co-ordinator, Lok Samiti) has demanded for a life size statue of late Tripurari Sharan and a school in village Khardiha and restoration of Mandi system with guaranteed MSP to farmers. Mr. Ajay Shrivastava (Ex-president, district Khadi Gramodyog) recalled Tripurari Babu as a synonymous to Khadi and his devotion to JP. Mr. Shivji Singh (GS, BSLS) anchored the dais.

Also Mr. Girija Satish, Hon. MLA, Mr. Jagannath Singh, Mr. KG Azad & Mr. Shivji Singh have sown two plants of Mango & Banyan in memory of late Tripurari Babu. During the convention, Mr. Girija Satish has honored Smt. Dulari Jee (widow of late Ramswaroop Bhai, an old associate of Gaya Lok Samiti) with shawl while other recipient of this admiration, Shri Ram Sharan Jee (Bhagalpur LS) couldn’t join the program.

About 100 people including Mr. Nagendra Sinha (G. Secretary, BSLS), Mr. Shriram Singh (Secretary, dist. LS), Dr. Arun Maji (Advocate-Supreme Court & President, Delhi State LS), Mr. Sajjan Kumar (GS, Delhi LS), Mrs. Bindu Singh, Mrs. Meena Devi (Baadh LS), Mr. Upendra Singh, Mr. Parmeshwar, Mr. Kishori Yadav, Mr. Vishnudev Paswan, Mr. Sujeet (Rohtas LS) have participated in the convention.
