NBJK Celebrates First Establishment Anniversary of #LokNayakJayPrakashEyeHospital Kajha

18 January 2021, Kajha (Wazirganj), Gaya: At Kajha village of Sahiya panchayat in Wazirganj block under Gaya district, NBJK has celebrated first establishment anniversary of LNJP Eye Hospital initiated with support of #WenGivingFoundation Australia & Mission for Vision @mfv.org @mfv_org

Dr. Nand Lal Prasad (In-charge, Community Health Centre, Wazirganj) was the guest of honour who cut the cake on this occasion and accompanied by Mr. Girija Satish (President, NBJK), Mr. Gandharv Gaurav (Program Director, NBJK) and doctors of LNJPEH. Dr. Prasad has assured to cooperate for quality Cataract surgery of people in this area.

Mr. Gandharv Gaurav has briefed about this well equipped and modern eye hospital with 40 beds functioning under the guidelines of Central/State Government and provides free of cost or subsidized treatment to poor people. Within last one year, the hospital has conducted 10298 OPD and 3151 cataract surgeries successfully, out of which 2520 surgeries were free of cost, Mr. Gaurav said during the function.

Dr. Ashutosh Anand has appreciated the staffs of LNJPEH Kajha for such good performance of the hospital. Mr. Girija Satish has thanked the hospital team for their hard work and conveyed his best wishes. Dr. Suman Kumar (Ophthalmologist), Mr. Sukanto Mete (Manager, LNJPEH Kajha) and hospital workers have attended the function.
