School Intervention with Quiz on #Disability @ActionVillageIn

14 October, Ichak (Hazaribag):   Multiple questions around disability like it’s myths & realities, causes & prevention, laws & entitlements were addressed by students during a quiz held under Disability Rights program. The quiz was organized at Upgraded High School in Teuj village of Ichak block in Hazaribag. There were 88 participants of class X in the event who have tried their best to respond the volley of questions related to disability.

After proper evaluation of each respondent, five girl students namely Manisha Kumari, Sapna Kumari, Nidhi Kumari, Sejal Kumari and Savita Kumari were declared winners. They received prizes and appreciation on behalf of the school. Mrs. Sujata Prasad (Program Manager) has mentioned about social obligation of each of us towards persons with disability and appealed to promote an inclusive society with space for PwDs. The school management has welcomed the approach for rights to disabled and cooperated for quiz amid students.

The program team of Mr. Annu Kumar (District Coordinator), Mr. Om Prakash Gupta (Block Coordinator), Mr. Bhuwaneshwar Prasad (Field Worker) and Mr. Sudip Kumar (MIS Coordinator) has arranged the event.
