15 August 2015, Hazaribag: Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra has celebrated 69th Independence Day of the nation with tricolor hoisting by Mr. Girija Satish (President) at coordination office amid national anthem. During his address, he praised the contribution of freedom fighters to make India as a sovereign and democratic country. Only economic prosperity does not work and we need inclusive development with a change in our mindset to defeat poverty, diseases and superstitions, pointed out Mr. Girija Satish after recent incidents of witch hunting in Jharkhand. He referred equality as well as decentralization like foundation stones for any democratic set up and considered relevance of Mahatma Gandhi to move forward as a nation. NBJK president has reiterated the vow to reach people in need and greeted all staff members on the day. At Surekha Prakashbhai Public School (Chouparan), the national flag was unfurled by Mr. Girija Satish and students have performed a disciplined salutation parade. Their cultural show was inaugurated by the NBJK president and Mr. Gandharv Gaurav (Director, SPPS) jointly. This was a good composition with a number of theme based ballet, group dance and individual presentations. The students of class VII, IX, X and junior sections have been widely acknowledged for their show. Child artists like Baby Nisha Raj, baby Riya and Mr. Indrajit Sharma (teacher) have earned special acclamation from the audience.
