NBJK Participates in Training on #Documentation and Use of #Social Media @OxfamIndia

5 -7 August 2015, Patna: Mr. Parabhunath Sharma (Treasurer, NBJK) has ensured his participation in the training on Effective Documentation and Use of Social Media organized for partner VOs of Oxfam, Patna. On 5 August, the presentation by Ms Adya Gupta (Oxfam India) on How NGO can Use Social Media (to showcase work & create public engagement) has covered the subject judiciously and introduced it for partner organizations. She was down to earth and demonstrated various tools for online communication. Due to increasing number of net users, it became unavoidable to share the platform, she has justified. The training has covered relevance to be net friendly for promotion of cause and fund raising. This provided a micro explanation about Facebook, Twitter, their usage and protocols. On 6 – 7 August, Mr. Anindo Banerjee and Ms Nancy Priya (Praxis, Patna) have conducted a workshop on Effective Documentation that dealt with its importance for transparency, advocacy and a social insight. This was a live interaction around format & medium, contents, process, style, issue, message, reliability with many more under domain of effective documentation.
