LNJPEH Stall at Hindustan Utsav Mela – 2014

NBJK run Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Eye Hospital, Bahera (Chouparan, Hazaribag) has erected its stall in much publicized Hindustan Utsav Mela – 2014 at Matwari ground of Hazaribag. This 3 – Day’s event was organized by Hindustan Media Ventures Limited and inaugurated by Mr. Girija Satish (President, NBJK) with other dignitaries on 29th March. He appreciated the organizers to club verities of service providers at a place and invited people to get benefits of such a conglomerate in their town. LNJPEH stall has attracted a large number of people and generated mass awareness towards eye care. It has served 285 visitors free of cost during the fair and provided them on the spot check up for diabetes, blood pressure, refraction and cataract. Many patients have been identified, diagnosed and referred to the base hospital for treatment of diabetic retinopathy and cataract. There were 28 more stalls from educational institutions, government departments, handicrafts and car makers.
