03 November 2017, Amrit Nagar (Hazaribag): Central Social Welfare Board & Jharkhand State Social Welfare Board supported Family Counselling Centre or FCC has organized a seminar upon “My Goal – Corruption Free India” among the students of Amrit Nagar High School at Amrit Nagar village. The seminar was presided by Mr. Dharmanand Ray (Senior Teacher, ANHS) who said that its more important to save the character instead of making this these days. We have our own honesty and dutyfulness only that we can contribute to the goal of making India corruption free, he opined during the programme.

Before this, Mrs. Meera Gupta (Counsellor, FCC) has briefed about NBJK with FCC and introduced the theme of this seminar. She has thrown light over different dimensions of corruption and warned about deteriorating dignity of family relationship even. We women can feel secured and safe in a corruption free society only, she pointed out. Mr. Shankar Rana (Lok Samiti) has suggested for quality education, character making endeavors and citizen friendly laws to uproot corruption from our national life. Many class 10th students have participated in the seminar and expressed their views. Muskan Kumari has conveyed her grief over increasing violence in society and Neeta was of the view that more educated people are more corrupt. Nisha Kumari has termed gender disparity as a corrupt practice and people become corrupt due to lack of humanity, another student Laxmi added her conclusion.

Mr. Sanjay Kumar (Counsellor, FCC) was concerned about low birth ratio of girl children and insisted to check female foeticide. On behalf of FCC, he thanked all the students and teachers to make the seminar meaningful.
